Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013

If I made one mistake today, it was looking at Prabal's pre-fall collection before any others because I have fallen so hard for these gorgeous looks that I couldn't even get myself to look at anything else - I just had to post this right away! The use of prints, along with the colored tweed and well-structured pieces have me in heaven, and if I could get my hands on a pair of those silver trousers I'd be a very happy girl. Can we just focus on the shoes for a second too? I mean, the black and white, with or without added color, are all pairs to desire in general, but I just realized my total neglect of partially green footwear when I saw the boots in the first photo. Looks like I'll be in the market for another pair...

Model Style: Miranda Kerr

Recently, Miranda Kerr has been getting more attention than usual for her killer off-the-runway style that she's been showing off whilst on the New York City streets, so I figured it's a good time to showcase a few of the supermodel's latest looks! Here are just a few from the last three days alone!

What do you think?
Is Miranda's style all it's hyped up to be or is the Aussie beauty a bit overrated?

That Time Of Year

As just about everyone on the face of the earth knows, yesterday was Cyber Monday! I didn't partake in the  money-saving (and spending) extravaganza until last minute, so it was a bit of a stressful attempt at trying to figure out what deals were happening where. So, with my brain being fried due to discount overload, I decided to forget the strategic shopping and went straight to my go-tos instead...the go-tos being ASOS and Urban OG of course (because let's be real, it's totally about quantity for me). Below are the pieces I ordered, which does not include a single knit - the one thing I set out to buy. Oh well, at least I'll be set with cross rings!

Buckle Riding Knee High Boot, Reptile Pants (somebody fire that stylist), Two Tone Lace Up Platform Booties

Hopefully you all took advantage and picked up some pretty things for yourself!

Long Time No See

Hello lovelies! Please excuse my extended blogging absence. I had no intention of taking a month off but with school and life in general I just could not get myself to keep up with all things fashion and blog-related. However, to make up it up to you, please allow me to now bombard you with pretty photos.

Now, with this little vacation came some extra time to think, and I came to a couple conclusions. First off, I really started having some blog withdrawals. Bad. I honestly didn't think I would but when I thought about whether or not it was even worth updating again I realized their was no way I was ready to call it quits just yet, which brings me to my second thought. The posts from the last couple months just are not cutting it. The effort hasn't been there, and it shows. Mostly this can be attributed to school and all around mental exhaustion, but also I have been bored. Maybe, uninterested is actually a better choice of word. Either way, I couldn't get myself to care, or be excited, or feel inspired. So, as I was thinking over all of this I decided one thing - no more phoning it in. If I'm going to do this, I want it to be something more than a "Quick Fix" posted every other week (though I do love a good "Quick Fix" from time to time). Anyways, I guess my point is that I'm recommitting myself to this blog and I'm excited about it! I fell off for a while but I think that was one of the things getting me down. I need to look at the stunning photography in inspiration posts, and gorgeous editorials, and all the different lust-worthy pieces that I can't help but covet because that's what I love to do and that's what makes me happy.

That was basically the long way of me saying I'm back to blogging, and this time I plan to make it a permanent thing : )
