Apologies for my blogging absence, but all my focus has been on school recently, specifically a research paper on  Central American/Mexican migration via freight trains that makes up my entire grade in the class, so with that deadline inching closer every day I couldn't get myself to pay attention to anything fashion-related for a few days. Although I have one final left, I feel about 1000% more relaxed now that I'm basically done with this semester - it went by ridiculously fast!

So now that we're catching up I do have a little something to brag about...

I MET ED SHEERAN! I went to see him open up for Snow Patrol (not my fav) and he was amazing (and also incredibly tiny)! Afterward he greeted fans outside but unfortunately I have no photos to share this time because security wouldn't allow it : ( I only have some blurry snaps of him before I got to hug him/have him sign my ticket/fangirl on the inside like a complete idiot. You know, the usual...

It's A Brad, Brad...Book Signing!

Well look who it is! Little old me with Mr. Fabulous himself, BRAD GORESKI!

As I've mentioned before, Brad was in the city for a book signing this Saturday and their was no way I was going to miss that one. So, I headed down to Brooks Brothers and waited to meet one of my favorite "Bravo" stars.  As everyone waited food was being handed out (fruit, popcorn, sauteed chicken) but the most adorable thing was the little finale of blue bow tie cookies. How perfect is that!

I had never been to a book signing before so I didn't really know if we'd get to talk a lot or if it was just a "Hi, how are you?" and move along. I was happy to find out it wasn't like that at all and we actually got to have a decent conversation.

New In (Again): Friday The 13th

As the title suggests, I yet again have new purchases to show you! I spent my Friday the 13th making sure that I'd at least have something positive happen to me so what do I do? I shop! You see, I have a history of terrible Friday the 13th luck (hamster dieing, failing a test, generally making a fool of myself, etc) so I am one of those people that actually gets super paranoid about today. Fortunately, I can happily say that I have managed to make it through today without one bad thing happening (so far-got 2 hours left)! Actually, with these buys I'd say I've turned my luck around : )

- Just a quick post this Monday as I am trying my best not to procrastinate and get some papers done.

Fortunately for me I only have 3 weeks left until I can say my first year of college is a wrap! Its so exciting!

New In

A few posts ago I talked about not knowing whether I was going to keep the clothes I bought during a bit of a Forever 21 haul. Well, two of those things went back and in return I picked up some lovely new items that I am much happier with instead!

One of those next-to-the-register impulse buys but I'm really happy with it. Love a good, lightweight sweater!

One Too Many Means A Giveaway

When my last order from Forever 21 came I was super confused to find that TWO cherry blossom kimonos were in the box. Then I realized I was just an idiot...and accidentally ordered two. So, I thought to myself I could just return it or get some store credit, but then I said to myself "Wait a minute! It has been forever and a day since I held a giveaway on the blog!" So lovelies, my mistake now means it is time for another chance to win something for free!

Now for the facts: The giveaway for the new/completely packaged kimono is open worldwide and will run until April 16th when I randomly choose a winner. The kimono is a size small. To enter all you have to do is follow this blog (I keep things simple).
