The1727

All of the following photos are from the lookbook of The1727, a new clothing store that I was recently contacted about that is dedicated to dainty women's fashion. The delicate, handcrafted details, as well as all of the ruffles and chiffon show off the collection's influence of french rococo style. If you are looking to add a touch of romanticism and elegance to your wardrobe, The1727 is definitely worth checking out!

Better yet, if you got to the store's website here, you can enter to win LIFELONG SHIPPING and $500 to spend on the site! All you have to do is sign up and keep your fingers crossed that you are the 1000 member! More good news: Even if you don't win you can still earn $75 to spend and free shipping on your first order just by referring other people to sign up. Then, if they win, you will too! So, its pretty simple stuff. I would take advantage if I were you.

(You have until May 6th to sign up)

What I'm Missing

Though the weather outside and the date on the calender don't seem to match, I am still in a Spring state of my mind, so naturally I've been wanting to wear more prints. The thing is, with the exception of leopard and stripes, I have barely any prints! I really don't know how this happened but it is a real shame that needs to be fixed asap.

Options to get out of a print-less rut:
Photobucket
Asos: One Teaspoon Havana oversized cape/ Pepe Jeans printed one shoulder dress/Oh My Love paisley print fringe trim top
Photobucket
Opening Ceremony: Calla printed dress/Maria Luisa skirt/Suno ruffle halter shorts onesie
Photobucket
Forever 21: Island Getaway halter dress/Abstract dolphin short/Strapless Ikat dress
Photobucket
Topshop: Blue boat print playsuit/Multi feather fringe kimono/Green print off shoulder top

As promised, another editorial from Vogue España. This time, Lais Ribeiro wears Marant, Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, and more lustworthy pieces through the streets of Ipanema. In other words, these photos represent my dream life, Pucci boots included!

Me Encanta España

Isabeli on the cover of Vogue España in Emilio Pucci.
I wouldn't usually post a cover but when I saw this I knew I had to. It is just so...dreamy <3
Feeling super bummed though because I called up two Barnes & Nobles and neither carry Vogue Spain and now that I've seen most of this issue I have to have it! Every editorial is just gorgeous!

Any wonderful Spanish reader want to send one over my way? : )

Delikate Rayne

Hello lovely people! Let me first start off by saying that it has been a crazy, stressful couple of days, therefore I had zero time for quality blogging! Luckily, all is calm now and I can bring to you these lookbook and collection photos from Delikate Rayne:
Photobucket

Designed by sisters Meg and Komie, Delikate Rayne can only be looked at as effortless cool.
With describing their line as "the magical grunge glam future" (love that), the first collection is compiled of everything from convertible tanks to asymmetrical jackets to lace pieces that are so good they don't even need styling.

Everything Is What It Isn't, the Illusions Collection:
Embark on an adventure into the unfamiliar. Breach the uncertainty of what lies ahead. Dare to delve the shadows... Since the dawn of consciousness, mankind has been captivated by the mystery of the unknown. This collection is inspired by our shared fixation on ambiguity and illusion - the allure of what might be. In this effort, we pay homage to our native Los Angeles, tinseled town of fantasy spun real. Our debut collection features asymmetrical cuts, mismatched fabrics and ambigram graphics. What you see is never quite what you get - this is the apparel of your own enchantment.

Some of my favorite pieces from the collection:

Bella Donna Crop; Lace Slasher

Slasher Top; Lace Shrug

Now here is where the illusion comes in: the photos above show the 4-in-1 Dream Reality piece go from tank to dress to crop top. Even the graphic has the ability to be worn in two ways-or not at all! 1 item. 4 looks. That is convenient fashion at its best.

I Heart It

Here, to finish out the working week, are some things that I love right now:

Photobucket
These photos of Jacquelyn Jablonski for H&M magazine. It was tough to chose just a few to post since the whole editorial is gorgeous and the styling makes me go, "oh I should have gone for more of that look today" (don't you hate those moments?).
Photobucket
Gold Clock necklace from Topshop. Simple and subtle. I've been trying to add more pieces like this instead of heading straight for the over-sized, sometimes obnoxious statement pieces that I usually go for. Knowing myself that may not last too long though...

New favorite show: All On the Line! If you haven't watched it yet I suggest you do. It is on Sundance and is some seriously entertaining stuff. Plus, who doesn't love Joe Zee?

I don't usually deal with interiors, but I do deal very well with shiny things. Shiny things like Swarovski crystals. So when I saw the new collection of wallpaper designed by Karen Beauchamp for Swarovski Elements I didn't have to think twice about adding it into a "things I love" sort of post because really, how fancy would you feel telling people you had Swarovski wallpaper? Yeah, pretty fancy.

You can go to the Swarovski Elements facebook page here to check out a video and more photos of the collection like the prints below.

The word I found most fitting to describe the entire cornucopia of 1970s glam brought to us by the April issue of Flare: Bold. Bold colors, bold makeup, bold looks. You get it.

And I know that pieces from that spring Gucci collection have been used in a million and one editorials by now (and usually that exact outfit no less), but oddly enough I am still not sick of it.

OT: I don't say this enough I know, but thank you for following/commenting! It means the world to me <3
