While I patiently wait for more resort collections, I figured I might as well browse some shows from seasons past to get my runway fix in. The spring 2009 collection from Gucci is still a favorite for obvious reasons. A 70s-inspired collection with a mix of vibrant colors, chic neutrals, and a splash of python here and there? Still perfect.

Bottega Veneta
Bottega Veneta's resort collection brought on varying colors and fabrics as muted earth tones turned into bright magenta and cerulean, and leather and canvas became flowing silk throughout the progression of the show. Ruffles, stripes, and rope details could also be found amongst the collection of lightweight pieces. While I may not be boarding a jet to go off to some warm, tropical island destination any time soon, I can say that if I were I would most definitely remember to pack a few of those dresses with me.
OT: I know everyone is super happy now that Blogger is working again and I am totally in that same boat, but I'll admit that thanks to the lack of posts and my bloglovin being empty I actually got something done yesterday - the final paper of the 5 that I had to write before the end of the school year. It feels so good! Maybe Blogger should screw up more often : )

Fashion Party
Natasha Poly, Daria Strokous, Iselin Steiro, Kasia Struss, and Ginta Lapina in Elle France
A little heavy on the photos I know, but just look at how much is going on in this editorial (and this is just half of it)! Elle France puts every trend to work making sure their is a little something for everyone. Personally, I am in love with the styling here and I'm trying to narrow it down to my favorite look but I just can't do it. However, if anything were to make the choice a little easier those Dior shoes could definitely do the trick!

Here Comes The Sun
Ieva Laguna for Elle France
I couldn't have seen this editorial at a better time as it is finally feeling like the right season where I am. We may have skipped over some weeks of Spring but that is just fine by me because as long as the weather continues to be warm enough to take note from this editorial, I'm good (and I'll be even better if I get my hands on a striped romper).

End
This week has finally ended, but it could not have felt any shorter. I got a fairly good amount of work done (this left little time for blogging), yet I still have so much to do in so little time before graduation! Ten days of school left and I have 3 papers to write, a speech, and then finals. Senioritis obviously means nothing to the people at my school. Thinking about it all just makes me want to take note from the above photo by collapsing on my bed and pretending I have nothing left to do.
Also this week I accomplished something on a fashion related note...I ordered this little floral number from Asos for graduation : )
At least this takes one more thing off of my year-end checklist
Edit: I just noticed that this post says it was published on Wednesday...I take it that is because I saved the photo of the dress as a draft, but I would just like to state that I am very aware the work week ends on Friday. Not Wednesday.
