See You In 2011

My final post for this year. That still feels a little strange.

It Is Better To Give Than Receive

(Except not when it comes to the purpose of this post)
I promised a post for Tuesday and didn't get around to it, but it is only 2 AM now so I figure that a few hours off is close enough. Below are photos of most of this year's Christmas presents. I went for quantity as I figured this may be the last "fun" round of gifts as by this time next year I'll be in college and will have to ask for things I actually need. Lame.

All of the fur items. The leopard snood will most likely make weekly appearances in my outfits, and I'll be living in those slipper booties.

New rings. Had no clue the two in the back would be that huge, but I'm good with that.

Boots, boots, boots. Third pair are wedges (I figured you wouldn't be able to tell)

Neutrals (and purple). Worst presentation ever yes/yes? That is what happens when you just lay everything out on your basement floor. I've been noticing more and more the insane amount of basics that I have. Now I see why that is as the above picture is comprised mostly of basic tops. Its alright though, nothing a little layering won't fix : )

Not pictured: a pair of black suede wedge boots. a white comforter, Manchester United poster, and metal "K" for my dorm next year, the world's softest blanket, gloves, and even better yet...cash.

So I can't really complain. I had a good December 24-26 with the family, but I'm glad that it is all over now because I kind of can't wait until 2011 officially begins. It is going to be a big year.

The Day After

So tell me, How was everyone's Christmas? Did you get all you had hoped for? I hope you all had a lovely time and were gifted some lovely new pieces to add into your closets! Jeans & Jersey

As much as I absolutely adore all the flash that the holidays bring, my dress sense is leaning heavily towards all things comfortable, so this editorial is really doing the trick for me right now. Okay back to the contest. The idea was to create a look for US Skin's Michelle, so I went with a look I think Michelle would definitely wear on a night out. Now we don't necessarily have the exact same style, but I came up with what you see above. She's pretty girly, and she likes to sex it up so I left the back open and had the chain running down for some edge. Also, she's wearing sequins in the trailer and I figured I can't go wrong with some added sparkle!

Who's Gaudy?

The first picture is clearly what happens when I get bored...and gaudy.
First, a polish change back into my glitter-gold that I've been wearing on and off, which means I just have to throw on some gold rings and my leopard fur, because that is what you do when you have some freshly painted nails afterall. Isn't it strange how wearing a certain nail color can just feel right? I'm not the type of person to stick to one color for the majority of the time, but occasionally when I switch it up it can just throw me off. It is always the little things though.

The second picture is the Disaya Black and Gold Jagged Electricity Cuff from Asos. Just in case someone wants to get me a last minute Christmas present...
